How can I get my cat off the kitchen table?

They were cute as kittens, doing what they wanted to, now they're bigger and interrupt your meals.  This can be particularly annoying when you have guests over.  The best thing to do is a loud "Noooo!!!!" directed at your cat.  If that doesn't work, keeping a spray bottle with water nearby always does.  A quick mist towards your cat will have him running for cover.  Eventually, just reaching for the water bottle will cause the cat to bolt.
